Skeleton Key

Overview

The Skeleton Key is a Legendary consumable that opens the chests at the end of Strikes, unlocking Strike-exclusive loot. It first appeared in Rise of Iron and is earned by completing Nightfall and SIVA Crisis heroic Strikes. Players can hold more than one.

Born in Darkness

During the Born in Darkness Part 2 quest, a separate key is used on a door terminal in the boss room of the Perdition Lost Sector on Cadmus Ridge. The Exo Stranger is waiting at the end of Perdition, and she is spoken to again at the Beyond landing point to finish the quest. The quest's reward is the Duskfield Grenade.
