Singe

Overview

Singe is the elemental heroic modifier that set the damage type for a week's activities in older seasons of Destiny 2. During an Arc singe, both players and enemies deal more damage with Arc weapons and abilities.

Effects

In the Vanguard playlist, a weekly singe could be paired with a Vanguard challenge: earlier versions asked players to finish three Strikes using a subclass that matched the week's element. Sources describing this date from 2019 and later seasons reworked the Vanguard playlist, so the singe may no longer appear in the same form. Check the Vanguard screen in the Tower for the modifiers currently active.
