History of Simulator Hood

Overview

Simulator Hood is a Legendary Helmet for the Warlock class, part of the Simulator armor set (a Titan, Hunter and Warlock version exists). The set pieces are Simulator Gloves, Simulator Robes, Simulator Legs, Entanglement Bond (Warlock version also includes a class item, Entanglement Bond). Its flavor text is cryptic "RECORD ... CHASM" simulation logs describing visions.

Acquisition

Simulator armor was originally handed out by Lakshmi-2, the Future War Cult representative in The Tower, as rewards during Faction Rallies; it later became available as ordinary loot, and Bungie's source text for this piece still lists "earn rank-up packages from Lakshmi-2". Lakshmi-2 also sold armor and War Simulator ornaments for Legendary Shards and FWC Tokens. Rallies were pulled after Season 3 of Curse of Osiris/Warmind era Destiny 2, so check current availability in-game; sources are older and may be outdated.
