History of Shredder

The Shredder is a Hive energy light carbine that deals Void damage. It fires semi-automatically at a high rate in short bursts. Acolytes use it most often, and certain Knights carry it too.

The Taken variant, used by Taken Acolytes and Taken Knights, fires Arc bolts on a descending trajectory instead. The Shredder first appeared in the original Destiny and returned in Destiny 2 with The Witch Queen.
