Shadow Thrall

Overview

Shadow Thralls are Taken enemies introduced in Destiny: The Taken King. They are commonly summoned by Taken Wizards, though they can appear in other situations. They attack in a similar pattern to regular Thralls but have no self-preservation. They charge the closest enemy in a straight line without waiting for a horde.

Durability and variants

Shadow Thralls die in one shot, even from submachine guns. They can also die on their own a few seconds after appearing, or if they move too far from their summoner. The Consumed Shadow (Heroic difficulty) and Devoured Shadow (Epic difficulty) are their variants.

The Reckoning

In The Reckoning, Taken thralls attack from both the front and back during the bridge fights, and snipers attack from floating pyramids on either side. Players build the bridge by capturing sections, and each capture spawns a major enemy. Once progress reaches 100%, a boss must be defeated.
