History of Season 4

'''Season 4''' is the fourth season of Destiny 2, known as the '''Season of the Outlaw'''. It launched with the Forsaken expansion on September 4, 2018 and ended on December 4, 2018.

Overview

Each subclass received a new Super tree, and the Weapon Mod system was reworked so that mods change weapon performance rather than damage type. Ammo and damage type became fixed per weapon, and the Vault expanded to 500 slots.

Activities

• '''The Shattered Throne''', a new dungeon that can be run solo or with up to three players.
• '''The Blind Well''', a horde-style Public Event.
• '''Gambit''', a PvP and PvE mode in which two four-player teams race to summon and defeat a boss.
• Four strikes: Warden of Nothing, The Hollowed Lair, The Corrupted and Broodhold.

The Last Wish raid opened ten days after launch and features the Wall of Wishes. Meditations were replaced by the Daily Heroic Story Missions playlist.
