History of Scribe Shagac

Overview

Shagac is a male Psion scribe and royal historian who serves Emperor Calus with the rank of Scribe, aligned with the Loyalists.

Lore

Shagac co-wrote the Chronicon with the scribes Tlazat and Ixolt. After Tlazat was executed, Shagac replaced him as lead writer, beginning with entry DCII. In entry MCXXXV Shagac answered Ixolt's complaints by writing that a lack of imagination is worse than exaggeration. Shagac's role was to produce what Calus considered a true historical record, including future-set entries about events Calus claimed to foresee.
