History of Savathûn

Overview

Savathûn, the Witch Queen, was born Sathona on Fundament and became one of the three founding Hive gods alongside her siblings Oryx and Xivu Arath. The siblings made a pact with the Worm Gods; Savathûn later became known for schemes against the Witness, including hiding the Veil on Neptune. She impersonated Osiris in the Last City, was captured and had her Worm removed by Mara Sov, then was revived as a Hive Lightbearer by her Ghost Immaru and founded the Lucent Brood. Her later dealings with the Coalition against the Witness span Destiny 2: Lightfall and Destiny 2: The Final Shape.
