History of Salvage mission (activity)

Overview

Salvage mission is an Explore (patrol) activity on Mercury, the Mercury version of the Destiny 2 patrol type Salvage Mission. In a Salvage patrol, Nav Mode shows which enemy types to find. Kill the required number inside the marked area, and the quest items they drop are collected. Once the required items are gathered, the mission completes and the reward can be claimed (GamePressure).

Status

Destinypedia's patrol page lists Mercury among the removed patrol locations, alongside Titan, Io, Mars and the Tangled Shore, so this entry is a legacy listing from when Mercury had patrols. The same name is used for the Season of the Deep activity Salvage, which takes place in the Kraken Mare with six players, and it is not the same mission.
