History of Salvage Patrols

Salvage Patrols are Patrol missions in the European Dead Zone (EDZ) in which Guardians hunt down select materials at set locations while fending off enemy forces. They are one of several patrol mission types, alongside Assassination, Scan, Survey, Kill, Item and VIP missions.

Salvage Patrols are the source of Red Legion Supplies, a common material that can also drop as loot. The supplies are used as a material and their in-game use is not described in the sources. Patrol details come from older Destinypedia entries and may have changed in later seasons.
