History of Runner

Runner is the name for the player carrying the Spark in Rift, the 6v6 Crucible mode. The Runner must deliver the Spark to the enemy team's Rift; in the original game the Spark has a time limit, and the Destiny 2 version awards points only for delivering it (Destinypedia). Teammates protect their Runner and try to kill the opposing Runner before they score. The Clear a Path triumph asks you to defeat two opponents who damage your team's Runner in one Spark run.
