History of Rufus's Fury (Adept)

Overview

Rufus's Fury is a Legendary Strand Auto Rifle (720 RPM) named for Rufus, an Acolyte of Nezarec. The Loadout's PvE pick is Hatchling with damage-boosting perks; its PvP pick is Target Lock with Perpetual Motion.

This is the Adept variant of Rufus's Fury, a harder-difficulty version of the weapon. Per the video guide on enhancing Adept weapons, it appears in the raid's Adept pool; check in-game for its exact drop conditions.

Acquisition

Drops from the Root of Nightmares raid (added with Lightfall). It is a third-encounter drop (the Zo'Aurc boss), and the final boss Nezarec can reward any raid weapon. Per Gamingcy, every legendary weapon from the raid is craftable once its Deepsight pattern is unlocked (via the weekly puzzle or by spending Spoils of Conquest).
