History of Rivensbane

Revision 5257 by archivist at 2026-10-01 23:22:28

Rivensbane is the title granted by the Last Wish seal. Although the in-game seal description reads "Complete all Raid Triumphs", every one of its 16 triumphs is earned in the Last Wish Raid (introduced with Destiny 2: Forsaken).

Overview

  • Activity: Raid: Last Wish (the raid itself).
  • Title granted: Rivensbane.
  • Time: at least five weeks, because the five encounter challenges rotate weekly; the rest can be folded into a handful of full clears.
  • Gilding / availability: none of the opened sources (TheGamer, the Destiny 2 Wiki triumph list) mention a gilded version, so gilding is unverified. The raid is still playable; the seal is not marked as retired.
  • Introduced: with Destiny 2: Forsaken (September 2018; release date from general knowledge, not from the opened sources).

Triumphs

  1. O Murderer Mine - complete the raid on any run.
  2. Clan Night: Last Wish - clear it with a fireteam made entirely of clanmates.
  3. The New Meta - clear every encounter with the whole team on the same Guardian class.
  4. Sunburn - all encounters with every player on a Solar subclass.
  5. Thunderstruck - all encounters with every player on an Arc subclass.
  6. Night Owl - all encounters with every player on a Void subclass.
  7. Petra's Run - the special flawless-style run where you enter the wish code before Kalli; a death resets the squad, so practise the route first.
  8. Habitual Wisher - make 10 wishes in the raid using the Wish Wall.
  9. Put a Flag on It - plant five raid banners, one at each encounter start.
  10. Treasure Trove - loot the hidden chests ten times in total (two per clear).
  11. Summoning Ritual - weekly challenge: cleanse all nine plates before Kalli's damage phase.
  12. Coliseum Champion - weekly challenge: nobody is hit by Shuro Chi, the Corrupted's arc blast.
  13. Forever Fight - weekly challenge: beat Morgeth, the Spirekeeper without killing the Ogres he spawns.
  14. Keep Out - weekly challenge: kill the Knights before they reach the Vault's centre.
  15. Strength of Memory - weekly challenge: beat Riven of a Thousand Voices without shooting the same eye twice. (The Destiny 2 Wiki's summary lists this as a plain completion; TheGamer's description matches the encounter challenge, which is what the game text implies.)
  16. Raid: Last Wish - collect the raid badge (all raid weapons and armor, plus One Thousand Voices, an Exotic with a 10% base drop chance that rises with each run, per TheGamer).

Notes on sources

TheGamer and the Destiny 2 Wiki triumph list agree on all 15 triumphs besides the badge; the Wiki lists the five challenges only as "Complete the X challenge". The Steam guide could not be opened and is not relied on.

Tips

  • Five of the triumphs are the weekly encounter challenges, so plan around the rotation and bundle the subclass and class runs with a challenge week.
  • Each of the chest, banner and wish triumphs can be done in the same clear as a subclass run.

Rewards

Completing the seal unlocks the Rivensbane title for all characters.
