History of Riven of a Thousand Voices

Overview

Riven of a Thousand Voices was an Ahamkara who served as architect of The Dreaming City, working closely with Mara Sov. She was taken by Oryx during the Taken War but kept her free will, later conspiring with Savathûn to manipulate Uldren Sov and corrupt the city from within.

Location

Riven was imprisoned in the Keep of Voices inside the Dreaming City. Guardians destroy her physical form in the Last Wish raid, and her death triggered the Dreaming City's three-week curse cycle as her final wish.

Later

Years later her spirit was resurrected to grant one last wish, opening a gateway for Crow to pursue the Witness, in exchange for protection of her surviving egg clutch.
