History of Renegades (activity)

Overview

The Renegades campaign is the story of Destiny 2: Renegades, released December 2, 2025 as the second expansion of The Fate Saga after Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate. The Guardian joins the Drifter, Eris Morn, Eido and Aunor Mahal against the Barant Imperium, a Cabal faction led by Dredgen Bael, operating without Vanguard support from Tharsis Outpost on Mars. It was made with Lucasfilm Games and is Star Wars-inspired.

Missions and activities

Six story missions, including "Imperium", "Welcome to the Frontier" and "The Long Con". Afterwards the Lawless Frontier (jobs, turf wars, invasions with a notoriety system), the Equilibrium dungeon (December 13, 2025) and new Arena Ops open up. Sources differ on specifics of the antagonist's superweapon; check in game.

Rewards

New weapons (including a Crossbow type and the Praxic Blade) and armor sets such as Praxic Vestment and Shrewd Survivor Suit.
