History of Relativism

Overview

Relativism is the Exotic Hunter class item (cloak) from The Final Shape. It has no single fixed intrinsic perk: each roll combines two Spirit perks, one from each column, drawn from other Exotics. Its Spirit effects require a Prismatic subclass.

Acquisition

• Complete Dual Destiny to unlock the class item. Bungie’s July 2024 tuning increased its drop chance from Overthrow chests, reduced the chance from unrelated Pale Heart freeroam chests, and applied stored Overthrow chance to Pale Heart Lost Sectors and Co-Op missions. This is a dated description of that drop tuning.
• Bungie’s July 2025 vendor update says Xûr sells Exotic class items weekly, after the player first acquires the item through Dual Destiny or Festival of the Lost. Check his current inventory and price.
