Radiant Batteries

Overview

Radiant Batteries are the charge used at the Izanami Forge, one of the four Black Armory forges. Players collect them from Phased enemies, mainly Phased Goblins and Phased Minotaurs, which spawn across the islands. The arena has wide gaps between islands, so players jump or use the corner lifts to reach enemies and batteries, then throw them to the central island.

Side-island players kill Phased enemies and collect batteries. One player at the center throws them into the forge.

Charging

Twenty batteries are needed to advance the first charging phase, Charge the Forge I, to the second. In Phase I the forge accepts batteries on any part of its hitbox. In Phase II its three arms open slightly, and only the glowing main body accepts batteries. Charging phases run on a one-minute timer and the boss phase on two minutes. Elite kills add 4 seconds and Major kills add 10.

Unlocking the forge

The Izanami Forge is unlocked through a roughly twelve-step chain that begins on Nessus and involves the Izanami Igniter, which is repaired with Ada-1 and reignites the forge.
