History of Qugu

Overview

The Qugu were a spacefaring species of the Se'Tar system, driven extinct by the Hive and the Black Fleet. Bipedal descendants of herd animals, they had cephalopod-like bodies and a single chest arm.

Pyramid and Resonance

A Pyramid lay buried on their homeworld Seht, revered as "the Mountain". When Savathûn's forces arrived it was exposed. Warden Te'Qal reached through the Darkness and unleashed Resonance, destroying the Pyramid ship but dying. The Witness preserved Te'Qal's mind, which became the Echo of Command after the Witness fell.

Appearances

First mentioned in the Books of Sorrow in The Taken King, and in Episode: Echoes.
