Overview

Its intrinsic perk (as named by one source) is Prismatic Inferno: it fires a continuous Solar trace beam. The trait Flame Refraction returns ammo to the magazine on kills, extending beam time. It excels against groups but struggles against single high-health bosses.

Catalyst

The Prometheus Catalyst drops at random from Heroic or Nightfall Strikes. Defeat 500 enemies with the weapon (kills before you obtain it count) to unlock it. It adds +18 Stability and +18 Handling.
