History of Prometheus Catalyst

Overview

Prometheus Catalyst is an Exotic Catalyst Triumph in the Energy Weapons category. Progress the upgrade for Prometheus Lens by defeating 500 enemies with the weapon.

How to complete

Obtain the catalyst and select it in the weapon's catalyst slot. Keep Prometheus Lens equipped and secure its weapon defeats until the counter reaches 500, then apply the completed upgrade. Use Special ammo to clear groups of weaker enemies, keeping the beam on a target until it is defeated. Replenish ammunition between groups rather than abandoning the weapon for long portions of an activity.

Acquisition

The catalyst can drop from Nightfall strike completions. This drop supplies the upgrade to work on; the weapon-defeat objective is the subsequent completion step.
