History of Prodigal Return (triumph)

Overview

Prodigal Return (triumph) is a Destiny 2 triumph associated with the Special Grenade Launcher Prodigal Return. The objective requires the Guardian to achieve Pattern progress of 5/5. This progress is attained by completing Deepsight Resonance extractions on the weapon. Upon completion, the weapon's full Pattern is unlocked, allowing it to be crafted at the Enclave. The triumph carries the flavor text: "Pain persists in memory."

How to complete

To complete this triumph, the player must acquire the Special Grenade Launcher Prodigal Return. This weapon was introduced in Season of Defiance. The player must then utilize the Deepsight Resonance perk on the weapon. This is achieved by completing an extraction, which reveals the weapon's Perks. The player must repeat this process until the Pattern progress objective reaches 5/5. Once the final extraction is completed, the triumph is awarded, and the weapon's pattern is fully unlocked for crafting.
