The Destiny Game Wiki lists its stat effects as +5 accuracy and a draw time rating of +5, which is about 20 ms faster draw time.

Notes

One god-roll guide lists the Fortunate Star roll with Polymer String as +5 accuracy and -36 draw speed, and calls Polymer String the best bowstring choice for that weapon. The draw effect is described differently across sources, so check the stat values on the item itself.
