Planetary Piston

The Planetary Piston, also called the Planetary Assimilation Piston, is a Vex object that appears at random during Breach Executable runs on Nessus. The game does not highlight its location until a player is very close to it.

Activating a piston

Interacting with a piston uses one charge from the Piston Hammer, which Failsafe provides before the quest starts. Only one fireteam member needs to interact with a piston for the whole team to get quest credit. Piston Hammer charges refresh daily, and extra charges can be earned by completing Breach Executable or the Enigma Protocol activity.

Rewards

Interacting with a piston reveals nearby Radiolite samples. Players can donate them to Failsafe at the H.E.L.M. or at the end of the mission for more loot.
