Planetary Materials

Planetary Materials (also called Destination Materials or Destination Resources) are currency items gathered from patrol zones. Each destination has its own resource:

• Cosmodrome: Spinmetal Leaves
• Dreaming City: Baryon Bough
• EDZ: Dusklight Shard
• Europa: Glacial Starwort
• Moon: Helium Filaments
• Nessus: Microphasic Datalattice

Derelict Leviathan and Savathûn's Throne World grant reputation rather than items.

Uses

Materials were spent on Upgrade Modules from Banshee-44 and Ada-1, and on Glimmer, Enhancement Prisms and Ascendant Shards from Master Rahool. Dusklight Shards and Microphasic Datalattice raise faction rank with Devrim Kay and Failsafe.

Acquisition

Materials came from objects that spawn and disappear in patrol areas, from Loot Caches and Strikes, and from Destination Resource Bundles on the paid seasonal track. Tracking Ghost Mods show nearby resource waypoints. Season 19 removed resource nodes as a source. Existing materials stay in inventory and can be sold to Master Rahool for Glimmer.
