Planetary Pistons

Planetary Pistons, also called Planetary Assimilation Pistons, are Vex-data pillars that appear at random during Breach Executable runs. The game doesn't mark them until you are close. Each activation uses one charge from the Piston Hammer, which Failsafe gives you for the Specimen ID quest.

Interacting with a piston reveals nearby Radiolite samples, which can be turned in to Failsafe for loot. Hammer charges refresh daily and can also be earned by completing Breach Executable or the Enigma Protocol activity.
