History of Photosuede Vest

Overview

Photosuede Vest is the Hunter chest armor of the Season 16 Photosuede set. Its flavor, from Commander Zavala, is "The Light was once what separated us from our enemies." See Photosuede Plate and Photosuede Robes for the other classes.

Acquisition

Originally earned by completing strikes and receiving rank-up rewards from Commander Zavala. The original Vanguard Ops playlist was replaced by Ops categories in June 2026.

For its appearance, Ada-1's expanded legacy armor selection provides cosmetic collection in Armor Synthesis. Since Update 9.7.0 (June 2026), her legacy armor selection is no longer on a weekly rotation.
