Petitioner's Burden

Petitioner's Burden is the buff a player gains after collecting four stacks of Petitioner's Mark in the Vorgeth, the Boundless Hunger encounter of The Shattered Throne dungeon.

Four Taken Wizards called Keepers of the Petitions stand around the room. Each one drops a Petitioner's Mark when killed. A Mark lasts 45 seconds, a new stack resets the timer, and the player dies if the timer runs out. At four stacks the Mark becomes Petitioner's Burden, which the player deposits at one of the four stations around the center to remove Vorgeth's shield. The team then has about 30 seconds to damage him while he fires projectiles that must be shot down. If he survives the window, the Wizards must be killed again, and the encounter fails after four tries. Guides name the deposit points differently, as stations, flames or altars.
