History of Perseverance

Overview

Perseverance is a Legendary Solar Auto Rifle made by Veist with the Rapid-Fire Frame archetype (720 RPM). Its notable trait is Dynamic Sway Reduction (accuracy and stability improve the longer the trigger is held), with Arrowhead Brake and a choice of Accurized or Steady Rounds. Flavor text: "It was a long time coming. But it wasn't the wait. It was the journey."

Acquisition

Released in Season 1 of Destiny 2 (Year One). Like other Legendary gear it comes from opening Legendary engrams and from faction rank-up packages (the in-game source text). Whether it can be crafted or has an Adept version is not stated in the sources used.
