Patterns & Catalysts

Patterns & Catalysts is a tab of the Collections screen in Destiny 2 that tracks weapon Patterns (for crafted weapons) and Exotic catalysts. Open Collections from the character menu and select the Patterns & Catalysts tab on the right.

The fourth section lists every catalyst in the game. Each missing catalyst shows exactly where it drops, so you do not farm the wrong activity. The Exotic Catalysts section lists 18 ritual-activity catalysts, 8 raid and dungeon catalysts and 9 reworked catalysts with new perks. Raid and dungeon Exotic catalysts drop from the final boss of the original activity, while most others come from ritual activities and Exotic Orders.
