Outlawed

Outlawed is the middle rarity tier of Gambit Prime armor, between Illicit and Notorious. Each Outlawed piece adds +2 role points to its matching Gambit Prime role; Illicit pieces add +1 and Notorious pieces add +3. A full Illicit set tops out at +5, so the +6 perk threshold needs at least some Outlawed or Notorious pieces.

Outlawed helmets become available once a player has reached the second clearance level for a role and owns the Illicit helmet for it. Gambit Prime armor is earned through The Reckoning: a player converts Synths into Motes with the Weak Synthesizer, and each successful Reckoning completion unlocks one piece of Gambit Prime armor. Consuming a Synth also gives a temporary +3 to one role for 30 minutes.
