History of Otzot

Freeborn Otzot is a Psion scientist and the lead scientist of the Cabal Empire. She rebuilt the OXA Machine on Brand, a Psion-controlled moon. Calus admired her work, ordered the machine preserved, and made her an Imperial Dreamer at his court.

When Calus announced plans to free the Psions, Otzot opposed them, because it would erode the privileges of freeborn Psions like herself. Sources say she used the OXA Machine to communicate with the conspirators behind the Midnight Coup that overthrew Calus. Her motives within the Psion Conclave remain unclear.
