History of Optus Taxaat

Overview

Optus Taxaat is an elite Cabal Psion VIP in the Proving Grounds strike. He is one of the targets for the Eliminate Caiatl's Cabal triumph.

Location

He appears in the vehicle bay encounter, in the Interceptor phase, inside Empress Caiatl's land tank. He usually spawns on the back-right side of the vehicle bay, near the large doors the Goliath tanks come through.

Tips

He does not spawn every time. Halphas Honorguard Centurions often appear instead, so several runs may be needed. He tends to stay near the centre of the area and is easy to miss while fighting the tanks. He is generally weaker than the other VIPs and can be killed by teammates quickly. For the triumph, a player only needs to land damage on him, not the final blow.
