History of Optative

Overview

Optative is a Legendary Void Hand Cannon introduced during Season of the Undying. Its weapon description reads: "If only you could see yourself. But you have no eyes. Not the dimmest sense survives…"

Acquisition

Optative could be acquired as seasonal gear from Vex Invasion world events on the Moon, or by completing runs of Vex Offensive. It was reprised during Season of the Wish alongside other Undying-themed weapons in seasonal activities like Riven's Lair and The Coil. It was also a reward loot item in the "Starcrossed" Exotic Mission.
