History of OXA Machine

OXA Machine (Odyle Xenotaph Anarchive) is an ancient device said to offer clairvoyance, revealing past events and supposedly predicting the future. Many alien species built, destroyed and rebuilt it over time, and its origins are unknown.

Overview

The Psions held the device until the Cabal conquered them and destroyed it. Centuries later the Psion scientist Otzot rebuilt it on the moon Brand. Calus rewarded her instead of punishing her, and the Cabal took the machine for their own use.

Insight Terminus

The Vex kept OXA Machine records in the Insight Terminus on Nessus. In the Warmind strike, Guardians travel into Arcadian Valley to stop a Cabal expedition led by Kargen, the Technocrat, who is using a Vex replica of the OXA Machine.

Prediction

The device is described as supposedly predicting the future, but no source confirms that it does. Calus claimed to have interpreted its prophecies, while Tazaroc dismissed its output as troubled ramblings. Its full capabilities remain unclear.
