Notorious Reaper Strides

Notorious Reaper Strides are the Hunter leg armor of the Notorious Gambit Prime Reaper set. Notorious is the highest rarity, adding +3 toward the set's perk thresholds per piece.

Overview

The flavor text, "You rove vicious. Illimitable.", matches the Reaper role: clear waves of enemies and feed motes to the bank. Wearing Reaper pieces eventually unlocks the set's four perks, which include Special ammo on multikills and grenade recharge when powerful enemies fall.

Acquisition

Gambit Prime armor was obtained through The Reckoning using a Reaper Synth; Notorious pieces needed the top tier. The in-game source line here instead says to raise your Gambit Prime rank, so the two descriptions may reflect different periods. The set is no longer obtainable.
