No Rez for the Weary is a lore Triumph in Destiny 2 from the Ghost Stories book, added with Forsaken in September 2018. It belongs to the set of Ghost Stories entries, each told by a dead Ghost.

Lore

The narrator is a Ghost speaking about its Guardian. The Guardian boarded the derelict Almighty with their fireteam and was disarming a trap when they were frozen in slow time. The Ghost blames itself for what happened and explores why Guardians cannot be resurrected there. It considers a theory that revival requires a template from a living, intact version of the Guardian in a neighboring timeline, and it doubts that such a timeline exists, though it still hopes it does.
