History of Niobe's Torment

Niobe's Torment is a Black Armory puzzle mission in the European Dead Zone that unlocks the Antechamber of Niobe Labs. It is the hardest puzzle in the series.

Overview

• Type: Story/puzzle mission, 3 players.
• How to launch: Solve the initial Niobe Labs puzzles; after puzzle 2 a switch lets you start the quest.
• Power: The listed power level is 750. Bring the Black Armory Forge weapons (sniper, bow, machine gun).

Mechanics

Seven escalating levels. Clear the room, then shoot symbols in the right order within 30 seconds, standing on symbol platforms and using the required weapon type. Failing the timer or dying resets progress. Level 7 needs a Black Armory weapon to line up the shot and a regular weapon to fire.

Rewards

Hubris of Niobe emblem and Armory Forged ghost shell. The reward is minor since the Bergusia Forge is already open.
