History of New Pacific Arcology

The New Pacific Arcology is a Golden Age research arcology on Titan, Saturn's largest moon, now partly sunk in the methane seas. It was a scientific hub studying Titan's ecosystem (the jingle: "The next frontier is you"), abandoned in the Collapse after a tidal wave damaged it. Guardians used it as a temporary base in the Red War.
Access
Complete the "Riptide" story mission. Landing zones: Siren's Watch (Methane Flush Lost Sector) and The Rig (Cargo Bay 3 and DS Quarters-2 Lost Sectors). The Solarium section is reached from The Rig past the broken bridge where the strike starts.
Shacknews' guide gives the route: from The Rig fast travel point head left along the walkways to a large ramp, descend, take the door on your left to a broken bridge (the entrance to the strike Savathûn's Song), jump the gap and continue through corridors until the area loads. It stresses that only the Solarium is the Arcology, even though several Titan fast-travel points carry the name.
Activities
Story missions Hope, Riptide and Utopia; the strike Savathûn's Song; adventures and world quests; the dungeon Ghosts of the Deep; PvP and Gambit maps. The area was also relevant to Solstice of Heroes challenges. Sources differ on whether the Arcology is the whole destination or the Solarium area; Destinypedia treats it as a destination, guides treat it as an area of Titan.
History
In the Red War Wikipedia has Commander Zavala send the Guardian to Titan, overrun by the Hive, to prepare a counter-offensive. Titan was removed to the Destiny Content Vault with Beyond Light on November 10, 2020 (Wikipedia). Current availability of Arcology activities should be verified in game.
