History of New Land Beyond

New Land Beyond is an Exotic Kinetic Sniper Rifle in Destiny 2. It is a bolt-action special-ammo sniper that uses iron sights instead of a scope.

Overview

Its intrinsic perk, "The Master", increases the weapon's damage with each precision hit until the wielder is defeated, and massively increases ammo reserves. Its exotic trait, "Bullseye Bolster", boosts target acquisition, handling, reload speed and stability after precision hits. The weapon originally appeared in Destiny as an Xûr and Exotic engram item; the Destiny 2 version is a new weapon with the same name.

Acquisition

• Pre-order bonus: it was granted for pre-ordering the Year of Prophecy Ultimate Edition during Episode: Heresy, ahead of The Edge of Fate.
• The in-game source text only lists it as a pre-order bonus. Sources I opened did not describe any Exotic Kiosk or Xûr route; check in-game if that has changed.

Catalyst

The catalyst, "Top Tier Mastery", loads rounds into the magazine continuously at high stacks of The Master and extends the benefits of Bullseye Bolster. Sources I opened do not say how the catalyst is unlocked.
