History of New Arcadia

New Arcadia is a Gambit map on Mars, reflecting the Golden Age look of the planet. It first appeared in Season of the Drifter, and was also used in Gambit Prime. See also Deep Six.

Overview

Like every Gambit arena, New Arcadia is played between two teams of Guardians who bank Motes collected from enemies, send Blockers and invade the other team's side, until a Primeval is summoned and killed. The Drifter runs the mode from his ship.

History

Season of the Drifter added New Arcadia and Deep Six alongside Gambit Prime. Beyond Light moved Mars into the Destiny Content Vault on 10 November 2020. Destinypedia's Gambit page still lists New Arcadia as an active map, so reported status differs.
