History of Nav Mode

'''Nav Mode''' is the navigation view that shows mission markers that do not appear on the normal map. Patrols are unmarked on the map, so Nav Mode is needed to find them: it makes Patrol icons visible from a few dozen metres away.

Uses

• Finding Patrol markers, which otherwise appear unmarked on the map.
• Showing which enemy types a Salvage mission requires you to find.
• Cancelling an accepted Patrol.
