History of Namqi Sen

Namqi Sen is a Reef pilot in the lore of Ecdysis. He was sent to recover downed surveillance drones, and after his Hildian was damaged in a dogfight he could not find the source of a leaking pump.

Orin persuaded him to break queenslaw and smuggle her and Gol past the Vestian Outpost into Reef holdings. The pair were intercepted by the Queen's Galliots about a half-day's burn from Interamnia. He accepted five years of indentured servitude to the crown, and was allowed to choose his detail and negotiate his salary.

Afterward he and Orin travelled the inner planets together in his Hildian. He later died, and Orin and Gol could not be reached at the time, so they did not learn of it for months.
