History of NLS Drive

The NLS Drive is a propulsion system used in jumpships, also called a Warp Drive in-game. It lets a ship travel to other planets and their moons.

Acquisition

The NLS Drive is obtained after defeating Riksis, Devil Archon, in the story mission Restoration. Without it, the Arcadia-Class Jumpship cannot breach the atmosphere. A ship equipped before Restoration has no NLS Drive.

Notes

The Arcadia-Class Jumpship starts in Dock 13 at the Cosmodrome, as part of the opening mission. Destinypedia notes that after Beyond Light the Red War campaign was removed, so the starting jumpship path differs from earlier versions.
