Mythic Mission: The Invitation is the Mythic difficulty version of the The Edge of Fate story mission The Invitation on Kepler. Follow Ikora Rey into the Oort Cloud after an invitation has been sent.

• Type: Story mission replay (Mythic difficulty)
• Destination: Kepler
• Recommended Power: the in-game listing shows 200 Power; a third-party guide states a minimum of 200 Power to attempt Mythic missions, and the tier is described as tougher enemies and stricter execution than standard play. These figures come from a non-Bungie source and may change between seasons.
• How to launch: After the The Edge of Fate campaign, select the mission from the Kepler mission list at the Mythic difficulty. This is the campaign opener on Kepler.

Rewards

Mythic missions give higher-tier gear, materials and XP according to third-party guides; exact drops are unverified. The mission counts toward Kepler Mythic mission triumphs (a source states five different Kepler missions on Mythic are required for the Mythic Missions triumph).
