Mythic (triumph)

Overview

Mythic is a Triumph in Gambit that is earned by reaching the Mythic division of Gambit ranks. Completing it awards 20 score. Mythic is the fifth rank group after Guardian, Brave, Heroic and Fabled, and it is tracked as ranks earned.

How to complete

Gambit rank comes from Infamy, which every Gambit match grants, win or loss.

1. Play Gambit matches back to back. Each consecutive match raises the Infamy gained per game, up to five games. Starting another activity resets the streak.
2. Win as often as you can. Losses at Mythic rank grant much less Infamy than wins.
3. Play with a full fireteam. One guide recommends four players for better win chances, and a team with no invaders is at a clear disadvantage.
4. Complete Drifter bounties (weapon kills, melee kills and motes collected) while you play Gambit. Bounty progress also adds Infamy.
5. Use double Infamy weeks, which boost all Infamy gains including streaks.

Infamy thresholds for each division have been reported differently across guides and seasons, so check the current values in-game. Each rank-up grants Gambit engrams, and reaching a new division grants a Powerful engram.
