History of Mindbender

Overview

Mindbender is the name used for Hiraks, the Mindbender, a boss in the Kell's Fall Exotic mission of Episode: Revenant. Destinypedia describes Hiraks as a Scorn Baron and Ascendant Eliksni who first appeared in Destiny 2: Forsaken.

Fight

Hiraks summons Hive swarms and uses Void Ether-Shields. The fight takes place partly in a mirror dimension, where the Guardian gains the Refracting buff, which lasts about 2 minutes 10 seconds. Leaving the mirror resets it. When Refracting runs out, a Shattering debuff applies and damages the Guardian.

He retreats at about a third of his health, and the Guardian must light braziers to open a door to reach him again. The final phase brings a large wave of adds and an Ogre in the middle of the sanctum.
