Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis is a Lost Sector in Savathûn's Throne World, found in the Miasma region, added with Destiny 2: The Witch Queen.

Overview

• Type: Lost Sector (Normal, Legend and Master variants); destination Savathûn's Throne World.
• Launch: load in at Quagmire and head north to Miasma; the entrance is among the Hive ruins, to the right of a large room with stairs and hidden behind a tree. It also appears in the Director once the Normal version is complete.
• Difficulty (at Witch Queen launch): Legend recommended 1550 Power, Master 1580 Power. The Expert listing in the game data uses Locked Equipment and Extra Shields.
• Modifiers: Scorched Earth (enemies throw grenades far more often); Arc burn; Arc and Solar shields.
• Champions: Overload and Unstoppable. Enemies are mostly Scorn with some Hive.
• Power values are from the Witch Queen era and have since changed.

Encounters

• Room 1: Scorn at close range; shoot the floating shards to break a Hive Knight's shield and the Revenant Knight (break the three crystals).
• Room 2: stay mobile because of explosive Screebs; prioritize the Unstoppable Abomination.
• Boss room: a walkway around a floating pyramid; destroy the floating rocks to remove the boss's shield and burst it quickly before the shield regenerates.

Rewards

Standard Lost Sector completion rewards and the daily Legend/Master Lost Sector loot rotation when featured.
