Memory: Refractions of Light

Memory: Refractions of Light is a Story-type activity entry in The Pale Heart for Destiny 2: The Final Shape. It is not a mission with an encounter: the Memory is a consumable that marks the location of a hidden Prismatic chest in the Refraction.

Overview

• Type: Story (memory chest hunt); destination: The Pale Heart.
• Launch: Collect five Memory Vestiges of Light, dropped by glowing enemies in the cyst areas unlocked through Micah-10's "Alone in the Dark" quests; they fuse automatically into the Memory.
• Once you hold the Memory, the chest appears as a marker on the map. No power requirement or difficulty setting applies.

Chest location

The chest is in the Refraction, the area connecting The Landing to the Blooming: from The Landing take the eastern cave network, drop down a hole, cross the chasm with Shriekers, then climb the large tree to the top branches.

Rewards

Opening the chest grants Facet of Awakening (Prismatic Fragment).

The Memory is consumed when the chest is opened; opening the same chest again with a duplicate Memory only gives Ghost reputation.
