History of Markov Chain

Overview

Markov Chain is the second perk on the exotic Monte Carlo Auto Rifle. The weapon gains extra damage from melee kills and from all kills with the weapon. Melee kills also grant ammo for it.

The catalyst, Stochastic Vengeance, needs 5 stacks of Markov Chain. At that point the Alternate Weapon Action swaps between your melee attack and the weapon's bayonet, and a bayonet hit grants melee energy. Monte Carlo returned in Season of the Undying as part of the Shadowkeep annual pass.
