Major Nightmare

Overview

Major is one of the difficulty tiers used for Nightmare enemies, alongside Elite and Ultra.

Encounters

Nightmare bosses are usually accompanied by two Major enemies. If these are destroyed, they can respawn, most often when the boss reaches half health and only if no other Nightmare enemies are standing. Defeating a Nightmare enemy drops a phantasmal orb that grants an "Unstable Essence" damage buff against other Nightmare enemies for ten seconds.
